We are actively seeking DevOps Engineer or Systems Engineer. Multiple positions based in south Bay Area, CA.

Common Requirements:

3+ years experience in 24×7 Operations / cluster management environment
Solid knowledge of L2/L3 networking fundamentals and technologies
Solid knowledge of troubleshooting complex systems
Strongly experienced in GNU/Linux system administration
Fluent in a variety of open source compiled and scripting languages (Golang, PERL, Python, BASH)
Fluent in a vareity of common open source server software and deployment techniques (Apache, nginx, MySQL, haproxy, LVM)

Plus Points:

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, L2-L4 networking, load balancing and common routing protocols (BGP & OSPF)
MySQL database administration and 24×7 Monitoring software experience, such as Nagios
Virtualization technology experience, including KVM & libvirt
Source control experience, including SVN & git
Strong LAMP stack experience
Experience with medium-sized production clusters focused on 5 9’s uptime.
